Functional Areas
INFRASTRUCTURE
The Infrastructure Branch is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City's street system, including signs and markings, sidewalk/curb/gutter maintenance, City street trees, parking lots, traffic signals and street lights. Additionally this branch is responsible for our water wells, water distribution system, sewer collection system, and storm drain system.
FLEET & FACILITIES
The Fleet and Facilities Maintenance Branch is responsible for the administration and operation of the municipal garage and the maintenance of all City vehicles and equipment, and all emergency generator sites. Additionally, this branch is responsible for maintaining City facilities including City Hall and the Municipal Services Center (MSC), the new Police Facility, all Fire Stations, City Pools, Library, and the Armory.
ENVIRONMENTAL OPERATIONS
The Environmental Operations sections work together in educating the public about environmental compliance and conservation efforts. This Branch is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Water Pollution Control Facility, the Industrial Pre-treatment program, and Environmental Programs.
UTILITIES ENGINEERING
Utilities Engineering is responsible for doing long-term infrastructure planning for the City's water, sewer and stormwater utilities. Utilities Engineering also works with the O&M department in a joint venture to monitor, upgrade, repair, replace and plan for waater, sewer and storm infrastructure in the City of Woodland.
