In the event the surveyor or engineer submitting a map or plan to the city believes that compliance with the requirements of this chapter will create a hardship for the surveyor or engineer or his or her client, the surveyor or engineer may appeal to the city engineer to waive the requirements. If this appeal request is denied, the surveyor or engineer may further appeal the decision to the planning commission within ten days for the city engineer’s decision. (Ord. No. 1500, § 3 (part).)
