| 06/01/2010 On February 4, 2010 more than 40 City of Woodland, Yolo County, Woodland Chamber of Commerce and Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce representatives visited 200 and interviewed 171 businesses throughout Woodland. Overall the City has great "marks" and businesses are happy to be located in Woodland and plan to stay in this Community. Fifty-nine percent of the businesses surveyed indicated that they like Woodland's small town feel. More...

| 03/22/2010 In 2009, the City of Woodland was named a Climate Action Leader by the California Climate Action Registry, when we finished the process of calculating, reporting, and getting third-party verification of our 2007 green house gas (GHG) emissions. The GHG emissions inventories for 2008 and subsequent years will be compared with this "baseline" to determine how well the City is doing in helping to meet state GHG reduction goals. More...

| 06/17/2010 Rod Paschke, owner of Paschke Electric, has entered the "once in a lifetime" Hoka Hey Harley Davidson bike challenge. Riders from all over the world will be competing to win $500,000 leaving Florida and trekking to Alaska.
Rod will be sending photos of his trek with the City flag at various stops along the way.
